Purpose
To provide person-centered services and programs so people with mental retardation and developmental disabilities can achieve their highest level of independence.

People served
More than 3,000 adults participate in one or more of The Arc's programs

Programs
Consumers, their families and caring members of the community play a significant role in determining the types of services that will lead to personal achievement, integration, and participation with the community.

Current programs include:

  • Residential services
  • Service coordination
  • Vocational services
  • Day treatment programs
  • Employment
  • Family support groups
  • Special services, such as guardianship, recreation and Special Sitters
  • Services for Aging Adults and Community
  • Community Connection

Arc Health Services, a clinic staffed by licensed professionals, provides:

  • Occupational therapy
  • Group and individual counseling
  • Physical therapy
  • Psychiatric services
  • Nursing

ArcWorks is a manufacturing and subcontracting business, and Job Path provides training and job placement into competitive work environments.

The Arc also operates and employs individuals with mental retardation and developmental disabilities at:

  • DeliWorks, a cafeteria and catering business
  • Arc Floral, an award winning retail florist

Locations
The Arc's Administrative and Foundation offices are located at the Elmwood Campus. The Arc's programs are located at the Elmwood, Wilson and Wolk Campuses, and other sites throughout Monroe County.
