Purpose
CP Rochester exists to support people with physical and developmental disabilities in choosing and accomplishing successive individualized life goals. We do this by providing a wide range of services to people of all ages in the greater Rochester area. These include outpatient, clinical, residential, educational and personal support services. Our purpose is to ensure that those we serve safely determine their own pathways in life as full members of their communities.

People served
More than 1,900 children and adults with cerebral palsy and other physical disabilities, as well as their families

Programs
Clinic Services for children and adults including:

  • Physical therapy
  • Speech therapy
  • Assistive technology
  • Occupational therapy
  • Dental services
  • Orthopedic and prosthetic services

Residential services are offered at five Individual Residential Alternative Homes.

Individual and Family Support Services provide customized services which foster independence and community interaction for those living independently, as well as for those being cared for at home. Services include:

  • Service coordination
  • In-home Respite
  • Family support services
  • Habilitation services
  • Free-standing Respite
  • Family reimbursement

Augustin Children's Center. Pre-school enables non-disabled and disabled children, from 3-5 years of age, to maximize their educational potential.

The Early Intervention Program provides education and therapy for pre-schoolers with disabilities.


Locations
Children and adult day and clinical services, Pediatric Therapy Services and Augustin Children's Center Preschool are located at the Winton Campus. Residences are located in various suburban neighborhoods.
