Purpose
To identify, evaluate and provide treatment for people of all ages with speech, language or hearing problems
People served
More than 20,000 people - from infants to the elderly - are served at RHSC each year
- Speech-language evaluations and therapy for children with delayed speech and language development, who stutter or whose speech is difficult to understand
- Speech evaluations and therapy for adults who have had a stroke or head injury and for voice or stuttering problems
- Hearing testing, hearing aid evaluations, hearing aid dispensing and hearing aid repair
- Clinics on assistive devices such as amplified telephones, special alarm systems and television amplifiers
Locations
RHSC has three locations: Rochester, Greece and Webster - and outreach programs in 23 nursing homes, 35 day care centers and 110 industries in Monroe and 15 surrounding counties.
