Join us on Sunday, October 25th at The Marketplace Mall for the 2009 Al Sigl Community WalkAbout.
Get your friends and family together and sign up today for a fun-filled day of Halloween excitement.
Have a great time while raising funds for children and adults with disabilities and special needs in the Rochester community.
Walkers and rollers enjoy parading along the indoor walk route for free Halloween candy and giveaways, complimentary face painting, live entertainment and the good feeling that comes with helping others. Vote for your favorite scarecrow in the Scarecrow Village and mingle with your media friends from Channel 8.
Participants are encouraged to dress in costume and stick around after WalkAbout for the inaugural costume contest at 11:00 a.m. Prizes will be awarded in various categories.
New this year – individuals that raise over $1,000 will be entered to win two tickets to David Letterman in NYC, plus airfare and overnight hotel accommodations! Other prizes will be awarded to top teams and fundraisers. All participants that turn in $25 will get a 2009 WalkAbout t-shirt!
We hope this year the event will be even bigger and raise more money for the disabled community in Rochester, NY!
